Inspectors, testers, sorters and samplers measure parts, weigh products and test samples to catch mistakes on the production line. Non-destructive testing (NDT) specialists use ultrasound, X-rays and other methods to find cracks in welds, pipes and airplane parts without damaging them. Quality control analysts test medicines, foods and chemicals in a lab. All of them keep careful records.
