Read the full guide
Assemblers follow drawings and instructions to fit parts together, often as a team on a production line. Some build electrical and electronic equipment and solder circuit boards; others assemble engines, machines, aircraft parts or fiberglass boats and tanks, or wind coils for motors. They check their work for quality and use hand tools, power tools and sometimes robots. With experience they can move up to lead, quality inspector or maintenance technician.
