Read the full guide
Insulation workers blow, spray or fit insulation into attics, walls and floors. Mechanical insulators wrap pipes, boilers and ducts in factories, hospitals and power plants. Weatherization installers test homes for air leaks, seal gaps, and add insulation to lower heating bills, often for low-income families. The work can be hot, dusty and cramped, and protective gear is part of the job.
