Read the full guide
Oral and maxillofacial surgeons take out wisdom teeth, place dental implants, fix broken jaws and faces after injuries, and operate on the jaw. Prosthodontists replace and rebuild teeth with crowns, bridges, dentures and implants, often for people with complicated problems. Both work closely with other dentists, who send patients to them.
